Ramon M. Lopez was the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under the Duterte administration. He served in the Presidential Management Staff (PMS), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), and in a private corporation. He is also a strong advocate for free entrepreneurship education.

During his service he has received multiple rewards and just recently, he was named by People Asia as one of the 2020 People of the Year for his efforts in the gradual, safe, and calibrated reopening of the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
