What happens when you get bored with the game you are playing?

I remember growing up I was naturally good at a lot of things…

I was also equally horrible at everything else!

But there was a catch…

The things I was naturally good at bored me.

I used to tell my parents, “I’m bored”.

And they’d say…”GO DO SOMETHING!”

I was still pretty young, so I wasn’t leaving the house or anything.

I was also an only child, so I often time was making up my own adventures.

I also loved to collect action figures among a wide variety of other things.

I spent days and weeks reading bios and video game strategy guides trying to unlock the secrets of being like those heroes I looked up to in real life.

The stories of my action figures and other assorted heroes made the adventure come to life.

You would think that an only child with almost no friends would be doomed to a life of boredom forever.

It is kinda difficult to make bricks without clay as Sherlock Holmes would say…(poet and didn’t know it)

But at an early age I had discovered a secret that would continue to serve me to this day and the rest of my days to come…

Life is your adventure to CREATE….not a sentence to serve in the agony of REACTION.

And as I have grown, I realized that you’re not bored….you’re boring!

Even the skills you naturally possess constantly need to be refined and sharpened.

Leveling up kills boredom, because the game just changed...and it’s up to you to adapt and overcome!
