If you love a good hunting story you won’t want to miss this episode. I met Matt through a mutual friend, actually a couple mutual friends. Matt is just a hard working family man who loves to hunt. I would love to have Matt on again because I can tell he has spent some time in the mountains and I know he has been fortunate enough to take some truly great animals along the way. Last year Matt finally drew his Montana Sheep Tag. Like many of us he was bound and determined to give the tag the effort it deserved. Matt is one of those people who is definitely not scared to eat a tag in the chase to turn up the best animal in a unit. THIS was one of those hunts. Matt took it down to the wire, and along the way helped multiple people get their rams as well. What a incredible hunt hope you guys enjoy. Before we get started I want to tell you about my good buddy Mark Livesay and his e-scouting course.  Spending your hunting season going into an area where there are no elk is just wasting your hunting season. We all been there so excited to go on your big hunt only to find no sign of the animals. or worse your favorite spot has people everywhere. The Treeline Academy e-scouting course will teach you to find hunting spots that actually have elk right from the comfort of your home. With 30 hours of modules this is by far and away the most valuable asset you can give yourself. The ability to read maps, terrains, and areas like a seasoned pro. I promise you this is an invest in elk hunting abilities.
