One of the Early American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competitors and one of the First Americans to receive their Black Belts in Brazil. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion. Later he entered the MMA World amassing a record of 15-5. He did fights around the World, fighting in US, Latin America, Asia (Japan) and Europe. Besides his love for competing and fighting BJJ and MMA, teaching others has been his most rewarding accomplishment. He began teaching others in the late nineties eventually opening up his first gym in 2000.
