看Netflix影集"踏實新人生"
劇情：一個古巴家庭裡的長女Elena是同志,她還想說服表姊勇敢出櫃
要她大聲說出來,讓家人們接受
Elena: you should go out there right now and come out to the entire family. Make them accept it
而表姊笑著回應她的是這一席話:

「我已經坦承過啦!只不過沒人理
他們(老人家)不會改變的
說真的,我其實也不在乎
因為我知道他們愛我💗。
聽我說,我了解身為同志的感受,好嗎
起初: 喔不!慘了我可能是gay!!😨
然後是:喔!!我真的是gay
接著是"gay!gay!gay!彩虹!內衣!"🌈🌈
不過最後你發現---你也不過就是個普通人
而沒有什麼比這種充滿力量的感覺更好---
那就是,當你明白: 
我是怎樣的人,並不是靠著我想跟誰親熱來定義的。」

I'm out to the family
it's just does not stick
they're not gonna change
and honestly, I don't care
I know that they love me
Look, I know how being gay goes, right?
When you first start to figure it out, it's like, 
"oh no, I might be gay"
and then it's like, "oh, I'm gay"
and then it's like, gay, gay, gay! Rainbow underwear!
but eventually you realized you're just a person
and it's really empowering not to have to be defined by ..who you want to make out with
