WHAT is the FitChat Podcast?

  • Physical fitness - different ways to train and how to maximize results/time; finding a sustainable diet to keep you healthy and get the physical results you are looking for. Supplementation to fill in gaps.
  • Mental / Emotional fitness - keeping your brain in good shape; allowing time for rest and relaxation; actively managing stress and building resiliency to life; staying away from negative thoughts to focus on creative and constructive tasks; finding the motivation to be the best version of ourselves for us and for those we love.
  • Spiritual fitness – practices that strengthen your connectedness with sources of hope, meaning, and purpose.  We believe that God should be the ultimate leader in our lives and keeping Him #1 keeps everything else in line.
    • Relational fitness -  how well do you know yourself/others; ability to grow stronger thru challenges with the people you are around the most (family, friends, co-workers, classmates, etc).
    • Financial fitness – being able to manage your money in order to meet your current and long-term needs. As with any type of training, becoming financially fit requires learning the principles and best practices that others have used to achieve their financial objectives. Having a plan/budget is       freeing, not a burden.
