Questions to Ask Yourself as You Are Developing Your BrandI talk a lot about creating a passion statement.  Now you’ll use both that statement and the thinking process that developed it to shape your personal brand.  Answer the following three questions.  1. What are you selling? What are you as a multimillion-dollar “product” bringing to the table that will help you stand out to your targeted companies?  ·      Are you selling your ability to build a team? ·      To double sales? ·      To reign in costs? ·      To reorganize and/or streamline a department, division, or company? ·      To increase profits? ·      To implement new technology? ·      To open up locations or operations in new cities or countries? ·      To develop and implement new strategic plans or direction? ·      To create better communication and cooperation between divisions? ·      To improve their core business? ·      To expand into new markets? ·      To create new product lines? Remember, ultimately what you are selling is your ability to solve a company’s problems—even the problems they don’t know they have. Come up with a list of three or four “core competencies” that you have successfully demonstrated and that you enjoy using.
