It started out as a normal day on the 18th of March 2009 as 35-year-old chef, Claudia Lawrence left her work to head home in Heworth, York, England.

After speaking to both of her parents later that evening all seemed well as she explained she was going to head up to bed so she would be ready for her early shift the next morning.

Little did her parents know this would be the last time they would ever speak to her again, because at some point in the hours following this, Claudia Lawrence vanished.

As a huge nationwide search for the much loved missing woman was launched, a search that now spans years, many different theories have been explored.

And many people have been questioned in relation to her possible whereabouts

Yet 15 years later it still seems we are no closer to finding out the truth of what happened the night she vanished.

With police now treating her case as a murder investigation today we are looking into what we do know about the details of Claudia’s case and explore the different possibilities in the hope we can raise awareness of a young woman who is still missing and whose remaining family members still need answers …
