It was the first corporate sponsored training I had been to in my network marketing business. I had just driven 12 hours from Boston to Washington DC with a few of my downline distributors and my personal sponsor for a weekend event. To say I was excited about the event would be a huge understatement. I couldn't wait to learn and get all the details of how to succeed in this new industry I was in. We get into the training at 8:00 on Saturday morning and I'm mesmerized by the man leading the training. One of the concepts he talked about really stuck with me and helped to mold the philosophy I now teach on building a network marketing business. "You're really only looking for 5 people."
