So why does Anna have sweaty pits this time? Networking is hard. It could give any one of us sweaty pits. Let us take the pressure off and give you some tips for networking and setting yourself apart in this field, and guess what? This applies to both reporters and more importantly students! You guys can and should be networking too!  Attend the things. Meet the people. Talk about your goals. Make your own business cards. This will be your career, folks. You want people to remember and notice you, especially at an event like a convention. Also, lean heavily on your local and national associations! (TCRA/NCRA, etc.) Wouldn't it be awesome to get your phone to blow up with job offers as soon as you pass your CSR? N.e.t.w.o.r.k.i.n.g pays OFF.
