EP11 Why Do We Laugh When We Shouldn't?

"Let's Design a Life of Joy" takes you on an exploration with your hosts and joy ambassadors, Angela Gilman and Jennifer Stern, as they share life hacks they have used to bring joy into their own lives. Why would they take the time to talk about this subject? Because hope lives where there is joy. Empowerment lives where there is joy. Hope and empowerment are what fueled them to get through some really tough challenges. It can fill your life with peace, purpose, happiness and adventure. In the most extreme situations, having hope can mean the difference between life and death. As children, we are born with it, it is our natural state. By the time we are adults, it's a lot harder to connect to. Some people don't even believe it's OK to feel joy if others in the world are suffering. It's very common to believe that if we allow ourselves to have it, we will only suffer when it is gone. It is so important to live in joy, not only for ourselves, but because we then become beacons of joy, a ray of light for those who are lost and suffering, it brings them hope. As they continue to find ways to master joy, they will talk with people from all walks of life to find out how they find joy. They will also share books and research from those who have studied joy and happiness. Every Monday and Thursday, starting February 13th 2023, join in with them to upgrade every part of your life and remind yourself what your birthright is- a joyful life!
