For all of you nice enough to ask this past week – yes, I am feeling better – thank you! And the Astros and Texans did a lot to make me feel better too! How can any self-respecting Houston sports fan not love the Texans beating the Dallas Cowboys? There’s another regional rivalry that’s a lot more amiable and fun-loving, and that’s the relationship between the State of Texas and the state of Louisiana. We Texans love our chili, and people from Louisiana love their gumbo, so I thought we’d compare and contrast those two dishes on today’s edition of The Outdoor Cooking Show.
