Rodel Ituralde comes face to face with General Turan, leader of the Seanchan army that chased him into Arad Doan and fell for his trap.

Egwene helps save Leane from a bubble of evil and continues her silent war from within the White Tower.

In the meantime, the Aiel arrive at Rand's temporary post in Arad Doman and Rand instructs them to kidnap the Domani Merchant Council so he can coerce them into electing a new king in Alsalam's absence.

Siuan finally admits to Bryen why she broke her oath, and the two come to an agreement. Later Siuan relays all the news regarding the Forsaken and the Asha'man bonding to Ewgene in Tel'aran'rhiod.

In Malden, Perrin is preparing his huge party of soldiers and refugees to get out of Dodge before the other Shaido forces arrive.

And finally, Rand goes alone to meet with Rodel Ituralde and recruit him to the Dragon's cause.
