Katie Bain is a writer in Los Angeles. Her works appear in publications including VICE, Billboard, Noisey, RBMA and LA Weekly and focuses primarily on music and culture.

She has covered music festivals throughout the United States and in countries including Mexico, Puerto Rico, England, Aruba and Israel.

She has a special interest in psychedelic research and in 2016 received a grant to travel to the Peruvian Amazon and cover traditional indigenous plant medicines. She likes books, bass music and national parks.
