Wow! It’s a crazy world we live in these days, isn’t it? This whole pandemic thing with the Coronavirus has turned society on its ear. Let’s see – they’ve cancelled Cera Week for the oil and gas industry, and Rice has told students to stay away from in-person classes this past week, Montgomery County closed all its schools early for Spring Break, Tour de Houston has been postponed and several other events have been shut down (like the NBA), but nothing compares to what happened Wednesday when the mayor issued an emergency health declaration that closed the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the rest of the year.
