Have you ever wondered what it feels like to drive through the winding roads of the Great Smoky Mountains in an RV? Join us, Ryan and Lauren, your RV enthusiasts, as we unwrap our exhilarating escapade to East Tennessee's hidden gem, Pigeon Forge. From the thrill of navigating the narrow roads with our RV to the calming aura of the Little Pigeon River, we've got a kaleidoscope of experiences to share, including our cozy stay at the Pigeon Forge Landing RV Park.
Our journey doesn't stop at the mountains; it takes you on a tour through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the only park in the U.S. without a gate. We'll guide you along its access points, wildlife, the intriguing Cades Cove Loop, and our personal hiking experiences. And did we mention about our much-awaited visit to Dollywood and the anticipation it brought with it? Gatlinburg, the Iron Forge Brewery, the shopping island, and the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, each offered its unique charm and experiences.
Journeying through the tastes of Pigeon Forge, we sank our teeth into a variety of meals. Some left us craving for more, while a few let us down. However, the Iron Forge Brewery and the Sunliner Diner stood out, offering mouth-watering dishes that still linger in our memory. We even sampled moonshine at the Old Smoky Moonshine Company, a unique experience that added a dash of fun to our trip. As we wrap up reminiscing about our East Tennessee trip, we can't help but look forward to the upcoming Florida RV Super Show and what it holds for us this winter season. So, step aboard our RV and enjoy the journey with us!
