Ep.21 Why Your Anger Is Needed In Your Healing

Anger is so often associated with violence, abuse, harm, hurt. That association leads to the repression of anger, making it wrong or bad, when in reality, that's not all anger is. Anger is an emotion. It's not good, or bad. It can be used it destructive ways or supportive ways.

Accessing your own anger is needed in your healing. Because otherwise it stays stuck, stagnant. It leaks out onto others or turns inwards on you. The person who can't access anger, often struggles with boundaries, it's the nice guy, the good girl, the people pleaser. And that's where the power connected to your anger is needed. To claim and reclaim what is yours. To be clear on your yes and no.

And to allow yourself the space to feel frustration and anger in your life. Not to get lost in it, but to give space for it to move through you and alchemise it.
