One of my favorite lines is, “Be careful what you ask for – you just might get it.” It actually applies very well to many things in life, but it was spot on about live sports these past few days. My wife and I were watching the Astros get destroyed for what seemed to be the 13th game in a row, and she said, “Well, we asked God to give us live sports back, but we didn’t say ‘winning live sports,’ so I guess we need to be a little more specific next time.”
