At age 23, Shannon was faced with a tough decision. Either take over the family business or let her father file for bankruptcy and allow her mother to lose her home. Although Shannon had already finished her MBA she shares how her instinct, gut, decisions helped her turn her fathers business around due to mostly her hands on experience in the business. She took over the company, turned it around within four years and then sold it to Spark Technology where she is now a VP of Business Development.
