And Welcome to todays episode! Its just you, and me today honey! So I was a little nervous to record, and press play on this weeks episode, so here goes! Today I share my own story in todays episode, through from when I had disordered eating from 8 til 30. The addiction to suffering I then transferred from bingeing, purging, and starving through to panic attacks, which all stemmed from a dis regulated nervous system, as a result of trapped trauma in my body.
In todays episode I talk all about how to co regulate your nervous system, and how this has the most life changing effects on my internal and external world. Why I now feel safe in my body, no longer am addicted to food, and body image, and how I can have deep connections with myself, and others.
Mindset work is great, however, 20% of your trauma is stored in your mind...the rest of the 80% is in your body, thats why time, and time again people go back to their therapists, or life coaches, looking for the same result, and nothing changes. Breathwork (aka Somatic body work), is a form of truly releasing those patterns, and behaviours, and can turn your life around, and the peoples lives around you.
