It would be ridiculous to begin the show without acknowledging the biggest story of this past week – the protests in Washington, but I just imagine most of you are like me – you’re sick and tired of the whole mess, and let’s face facts. This thing has been the primary subject of conversation everywhere for the last three days, so in my mind – it’s already been examined six ways to Sunday by every political expert wannabe from here to there and back again, and The Outdoor Cooking Show is supposed to be an escape from all that stuff. As a result, we’re gonna leave that story to people who are much more qualified to talk about it. In other words, not me!
