Boy, it’s been an eventful week, has it not? Well, I guess it depends on your perspective – or at the very least it depends on your location, because the winter weather was a little bit worse north of I-10 than it was down south of I-10. But of course, the big story was not how cold it was. The big story was how quickly the power grid broke down and left well over a million people without electricity – just when they needed it the most. I haven’t seen any comprehensive analysis of why that happened, or who is to blame, but I’m sure there will be several studies conducted to figure all that out.
