A wise man once said, “Old age is the price you pay for living a long life.” You know who that wise man was? Me! I said it just a second ago. Weren’t you listening? I even Googled it just to make sure somebody else hadn’t said it first, but nobody actually said those words – with that thought in mind. And to be fair I guess, maybe I should have said, “Old age is the price you pay for God granting you the blessing of living a long life,” because I freely recognize that the only reason why I’ve lived a long and idyllic life is because the Good Lord in Heaven gave it to me, so all the glory goes to God for that one.
