Good grief – this next week is gonna be a really busy one for the sports world. Well, the professional sports world, I mean. College sports won’t be all that busy – unless we’re talking about the NIL rules. Oh, I should probably clarify for those of you who don’t keep close tabs on college sports. NIL stands for Name/Image/Likeness, and that refers to the new rules that allow college athletes to make money from the commercialization of their name, image or likeness. This has become a real hot-button issue on sports talk radio and in the print media, because college athletes have not been able to make money of any kind for many years.
