Holy moly! August arrived with a vengeance, didn’t it? I mean, June and July were actually kind of cool by comparison to most years, but it feels like August is trying to play catchup, you know? Heck, the plastic pink flamingos in our front yard melted last week, so I don’t think we’re seeing a “global cooling” trend any time soon.
