Unless you’re a brand new listener to this show, then you already know that we like to focus on “the fun stuff” as our dear friend Bear Dalton used to say all the time. Bear passed away late last year, and things just haven’t been the same around here ever since. Even after he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Bear told me that he wouldn’t appear on The Outdoor Cooking Show unless we agreed to only refer to his health issues in a generic way, and he always insisted he wanted to keep the spotlight on “the fun stuff.” That’s something we’ve always endeavored to do, but since Bear left us just before Christmas, we’ve rededicated ourselves to that idea.
