Every year at this time my wife and I watch the weather forecast closely, and we always get excited when that first legitimate cool front rolls in, because we’re just sick and tired of the hot, humid weather. Heck, we all are, right? I mean, I wouldn’t trade our hot, humid summers for those ridiculously long, frigid winters that people in Ohio and Michigan and Wisconsin endure every year. I’ve told you before – I lived through one of those kinds of winters 50 years ago when I was stationed in Korea as a member of the US Army, and I vowed then that I’d never, ever live north of the Mason-Dixon line, and I’ve kept that vow over the rest of my life.
