How many men out there are not responding to a call that they have felt for a while out of fear? He has the desire to teach men that carrying the burden of providing for their family does not have to come at the expense of that other thing they're interested in. 

Dr. Kelly shares how this showed up in his own writing career and talks about his new book, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell. We dive into the idea of giving a voice to the younger version of ourselves and how we've outgrown playing as adults. 

Dr. Kelly Flanagan is an author, speaker, personal growth and relationship consultant, and licensed clinical psychologist. He blogs regularly at drkellyflanagan.com, his writing has been featured in Reader's Digest, Huffington Post, and The 5 Love Languages, and he has appeared on the TODAY Show with his daughter. Kelly is the author of two non-fiction books, Loveable: Embracing What Is Truest About You, So You Can Truly Embrace Your Life and True Companions: A Book for Everyone About the Relationships That See Us Through. Both books debuted as the #1 New Release in Interpersonal Relations on Amazon. His first novel, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell, will be released on October 18, 2022. Kelly is married to another clinical psychologist named Kelly, and they have three children who are eighteen, fourteen, and twelve years old. They live in a small town outside of Chicago.
