My name is Choiwee Moon. I have Māori and French heritage, am based in the Bay of Plenty and I am Māmā to three beautiful children.
In 2016 I embarked on a deep journey into my own self-discovery and healing which led me to life-changing healing and understanding in the areas of depression, family violence, post-traumatic stress disorder and mental illness.
From this burning desire to dive further into my own learning and to support long-term change for others, in 2020, Mama Chow Holistic Healing was founded. Within this business I offer a multitude of 1:1 holistic healing immersion sessions as well as coaching for individuals and couples. I work deeply to create safe, and judgement free, spaces where trauma healing and transformation can take place.
I also host a number of regular, collaborative spaces with other Practitioners in the form of workshops and retreats.
Initially, my background is in education where I spent about 8 years working within the sector. Now, outside of my own business, I also work in the Youth Mental Health space running preventative, therapeutic programs in local Primary Schools.
In 2022 I partnered up with a friend of mine, Nick Pearson, and together we formed Ignite Sexuality which is a business focused primarily on connecting clients to their own sexual wellness as individuals and within partnership. Together we also host a sex-positive podcast.
