I don’t know about you, but I think the turkey got revenge at our house. Not only did I feel like I was the one who got stuffed, instead of the bird, but I’ve been eating all manner of turkey leftover dishes ever since. I mean, with every single bite I feel like old Turkey Tom is kind of whispering in my ear, “Here I am again, buddy. Now, aren’t you sorry you sacrificed me on the altar to gluttony?” Hey, I know better than most that “‘tis is the season to be pudgy,” but I just way overdid it this year. We even cut back on the number of carbohydrate side dishes that we served for Thanksgiving Dinner, and I still felt like I was hyper nourished, if you know what I mean.
