Every heard of Crab Mentality? I hadn't, but sure know what it is and I'll bet you do as well. Another way to phrase it is "divide and conquer" or getting us to fight amongst ourselves while keeping us from our goals or from the bigger picture overall. It comes from Big Brother (the media and government) all the way down into our personal lives.
