We come to you on this blessed day with an episode featuring the true Summoner of Spira and fan favorite from the FFX co-op episode, Kristin Thorson. She does the listening world a favor by finally getting us to discuss a truly special game, Half-Life: Counter-Strike (1999).

Kristin discusses playing games at her badass biker grandma Pat’s home, how she learned a lesson from her family that if you’re not having fun playing a game that it’s a good time to set the controller down and return later, and how her friend Randall brought her into his counter-strike introduced her to what would be her group of friends through high-school. Very much a Sandlot moment, just with more gadgets!
