Ep48 The Garbage Barge: The Atlantic And Jesse Singal Do Pride Wrong

Listen Later

Happy pride, people, and welcome back! Colin Anderson and Candice Chetta had a plan when they walked into the studio to make this episode, but everything changed with the release of an article published in The Atlantic by a man named Jesse Singal. We just can’t understand why such an utterly contemptuous, tone deaf piece was published in Pride Month. What the hell, The Atlantic? Why do cis dudes like Jesse Singal keep publishing articles about things they don’t care to take the time to truly understand? Cherry picking results, fumbling findings, and invalidating the experience of trans kids everywhere is NOT a good look, dude. Do better. Be better.
