Jenelle graduated from California State University in Monterey Bay & got their Masters in Asian American studies from San Francisco State University where they currently work with faculty on how they can create social justice oriented curriculum. They are a fiancé, a proud dog parent of Otis, a Bay Area native & the oldest sibling in their family. Jenelle shared their narrative of growing up with a parent who is difficult, embracing their cultural roots & practicing in healthy ways what their ancestors have passed down. Jenelle offers comfort and tangible advice for all those who are learning to live and love a difficult parent relationship. We dabble into cultural norms, religion, and jollibee peach mango pies.
