Nir Eyal is an expert on the intersection of psychology, technology, and business. He is a graduate and also previously taught at Stanford. He is an active investor in many habit forming businesses and he co-founded and sold two tech companies. Nir was dubbed by ‘The MIT Technology Review’ as, “The Prophet of Habit Forming Technology'.” Nir is the author of two bestselling books, ‘Hooked’ where he wrote about how to build habit-forming products for the marketplace and ‘Indistractible: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life’, which was named one of the Best Business & Leadership Books of the Year by Amazon & one of the Best Personal Development Books of the Year by Audible!

Nir is the manager of his solo-VC fund, Engagement Partners and invests in habit-forming products to improve users' lives. He has also invested in Eventbrite, Anchor.fm, Canva, Product Hunt, FocusMate and many more habit forming companies. 

Much of Nir’s career he worked in the video gaming and advertising industries where he learned and applied the techniques used to motivate and manipulare users. He now focuses on helping companies create behaviors that benefit their users while educating people on how to build healthful habits to improve their own lives.
