Hello and welcome back. It’s another week, another conversation! This time, it’s a tad bit closer to my heart because it’s with someone I’ve worked with, I consider him dear and in direct and indirect ways he’s been an impactful, intentional influence in my journey. Say hello to Shriram Parthasarathy, the Social Media Operations & Execution Lead (Asia) at Microsoft!

He calls himself a Curious Conversationalist and stands by it every step of the way as you shall discover along the conversation itself. At the intersection of technology and inclusivity, we talk about the processes of conversation which are intentional for each of us to find and hold our own space.

Having lived with a sight-related disability, Shri grew into navigating, discovering (and rediscovering) his individuality, resilience and his most authentic self which he makes it a point to bring into every single conversation. For he believes, curiosity, courage and clarity channeled with intentional inclusion create a unique recipe for growth and impact. 

We talk about music, movies, books and the rhythm of life in its truest sense. From what it means to be inclusive (as an ally) practically and the mainstream disability discourse in India, we learn to not see the problem in isolation. Another crucial aspect of his life: Technology – his own self-discovery through it, how it is an enabler and the mindset it demands of an individual to “work life out together.”
