1. Describe a situation where you felt very comfortable and confident. What made you feel that way?
"I was really in my element when I led a team project at work. Organizing tasks, helping people communicate smoothly and eventually achieving the end goal together is something I truly enjoy."
2. Have you ever been in a situation where you felt uncomfortable or unsure of what to do? How did you handle it?
"I was completely out of my element when I had to give a speech in front of a large audience without much preparation. I just took a deep breath and tried to keep it simple."
3. What type of environment or activity brings out the best in you?
"Problem-solving is when I’m truly in my element — totally focused, energized, and at my best."
A: Hey, do you wanna join the dinner party this Saturday?
B: Hmm… I’m not sure. Big crowds kinda drain me.
A: Really? I didn’t know that.
B: Yeah, I’m more in my element when I’m just chilling alone with some podcasts or music.
A: Haha, total opposite of me. I feel out of my element when I’m alone for too long. I need people around to feel alive!
B: That’s fair. I guess we just recharge in different ways.
A: Are you planning your summer trip already?
B: Yep! I’ve booked the flight tickets and hotel, got a spreadsheet, a list of local foods to try, and even a map with color-coded pins.
A: Wow, you’re really in your element with this stuff.
B: Totally. I love planning every detail—it’s half the fun for me.
A: I admire that, but I’m the complete opposite. I’d be so out of my element trying to do all that.
B: So you prefer group tours?
A: 100%! Just give me a guide, a schedule, and a buffet—then I’m happy.
B: Fair enough. Everyone travels differently.
A: So, how was your weekend trip?
B: Amazing! We camped by a lake, no signal, just trees and stars. I was totally in my element.
A: That sounds like my worst nightmare. I’d be so out of my element without Wi-Fi and coffee shops.
B: Haha, yeah, you’re more of a city explorer.
A: Totally. Give me street food, coffee shops and museums, and I’m in heaven.
B: Fair enough. I guess nature is my comfort zone, and cities are yours.
