Cross-product manipulation happens when an individual or entity places orders or trades in one financial instrument to unlawfully influence the price of another, either on the same platform or on different ones.  This kind of manipulation can be tricky for firms to spot because it often leaves only subtle clues. But regulators in the US and UK are paying more attention to it.
