In this episode Jade Melbourne only 19 years of age is vying for a return to the Opals squad for the FIBA Womens World Cup. She’s repped the Green & Gold in junior ranks but no one can forget her enthusiasm when she burst onto the Opals squad at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jordan earlier this year.

She’s the real deal in hoops passion, and her speed and agility was something to see at the recent Japan friendlies against the hugely talented Tokyo Silver Medallists.

Recently drafted to Seattle Storm - a Mecca for Aussie talent, Jade will delay WNBA training camp as she continues to develop her game in NBL1 at the Ballarat Miners and in her return to the UCCaps next season.
