When we hear someone is going to therapy, the word insinuates that they are going because there is something ‘wrong with them’ and by going, it would be an admission that there is something ‘wrong with you’ too; that idea is 

Wanting to better your own mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. Going to therapy is one of the best ways to gain support in this area, but there are always haters who think living life mentally ill is the cool, tough-guy way to handle things. Newsflash: there’s nothing cool about being toxic.
