On the court Marena has made waves in the last 12 months, bringing home a bronze medal from the inaugural 3x3 competition at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham as well as an MVP nod in the NBL1 Grand Final for South Champions, the Ringwood Hawks, and right now is balling for the Adelaide Lightning in some amazing performances by the team!

She’s hugely passionate about meaningful engagement with fans, junior players and the broader community and given that a key point of difference in #womenshoops is the relationships with our communities, Marena shares her hopes of tapping into those compelling stories to help lift the profile of the women's game.

True to her need for meaningful connections, she’s an ambassador for the Queer Sporting Alliance as well as studying to help advocate for those in aged care and disability, doing the hard yards to bring lasting impact for others.
