This week we are doing a bit of dive into some of the acclaimed indie films that are getting award buzz. Coming from the indie world these films hold special places in our hearts. On our watch list are five films: Sound of Metal, Minari, Judas and the Black Messiah, Nomadland, and Dick Johnson is Dead. While all have vastly different narratives and topics, we managed to find similarities that made these films so great and differences that weren't so great. So tune in for this week's episode.
