INVINCIBLE. This week we talk about the Amazon Prime original series. Based off the popular comic book series, Invincible joins the top ranks of other post-modern superhero series, but there's something unique about this one. Tune in to hear what we think sets Invincible apart! Welcome back One for Safety listeners. This week we finish up our multi week foreign film watchathon by watching another of the best foreign film nominees from this year's Oscars, Better Days. Better Days is a Chinese film that centers around a young girl studying for her finals while trying to survive the relentless attacks by bullies at her school. When she meets another outcast he promises to guard her from her attackers. It takes an interesting look at bullying and one in which we definitely had varying views on it. As always we drink a few new beers, wine, and whiskey while revealing some obsessions of the week. Hopefully this weeks episode makes your day just a little bit better. Enjoy the episode!
In this episode, we continue our chat about the recent Academy Award Nominee's for Best Foreign Film. We explore the film "Quo Vadis Aida" in relation to war films in the United States. And of course we have our Weekly Obsessions and What We Are Having. So tune in and listen to us chat about world cinema and much more.

Artist Spotlight: Triangle Wave Records
Triangle Wave Records is a humble record label/sound laboratory based in Eagle Rock, California, founded by László Bolender in 2010.
The name was inspired by the synthesized triangle wave shapes, and embodies his passion with sound in all its forms
Triangle Wave Records was born as a platform for his band Fake Furs, but it has grown into something more akin to a production house, where he produces his own music as well as collaborates with others on theirs. In the end, he mostly just wants to help his friends make and release music that they can be proud of 100%.
