EPA's attempts to regulate carbon dioxide emissions are based on its "endangerment finding," that carbon dioxide poses a threat to human health and the environment. The original finding in 2009 was based on flawed computer models that woefully overstated the amount of warming. Models since then find less warming and the evidence is mounting that increased carbon dioxide levels should produce net benefits throughout the remainder of the 21st century. As such, EPA should withdraw its endangerment finding.
