When we consider the temple of Israel it must have been magnificent to enter into the temple of Israel. The decorations, knowing the people were killed for not being holy enough, the ceremonies, and overall the holiness of the Lord that is constantly placed before His people. So what do we have today? There are many soldiers and warriors who knew that it was better to face their enemy on the battlefield than to return home to their king without following orders. The motivation for fighting was strictly fear and intimidation. It was nothing more than choosing the less horrible option from the two options. Is this why we follow Christ? Is this why the Apostle Paul is willing to be in prison? Is he terrified of the Lord? What is His motivation to suffer? Why does he give his blessing to us today? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Paul’s Benediction to Fellow Vassal Saints."

When someone goes into battle they receive their commands, and they are dressed appropriately for their conflict. The apostle Paul exhorts us to put on the armor of God. Does this mean we have to finish the work of Christ? Does this mean that Christ can only protect us from so many things? Does this mean that we are left on our own to travel through this world to heaven? Why is our stance described as a passive holding? How does this armor testify to the completed work of Christ? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned as we hear our sermon titled, "Heavenly Warriors Dressed for War."

The husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church, and the wife is to submit to her husband as the church submits to Christ. This is what the apostle Paul stated in Ephesians 5. So, if this is the case then how do children relate to their parents? How are parents to view their children in the home, and how are children to view their parents? What does this family have to do with Christ? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned as we listen to our sermon titled, "The New Family II."

The church is built together in Christ. Believers are called to submit to one another for the glory of Christ. What does Paul mean when he says that wives are to submit to their husbands? How are husbands and wives supposed to interact with one another? What is the significance of Christ, and the church? What does Christ’s relation to the church teach us about marriage? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned as we hear our sermon titled, "Christ, the Church, and Marriage."

Many times parents tell their children to act their age. The implication of this statement is that the child is not acting mature or responsible, and now the child needs to correct this behavior. The apostle Paul tells us to walk wisely because we are wise. What is the standard of wisdom? How do we know if we are walking wisely? How do we come to know this wisdom? If you have been curious about these questions please stay tuned as we work through them in our sermon titled, "Therefore, Walk as Wise Children."
