There is a significant difference between only knowing versus experiencing something. Paul prays that we would be strengthened in our inner being by the indwelling of Christ, rooted and grounded in God’s love, able to comprehend Jesus’ love in all its dimensions, and filled with the fullness of God. God calls us into the depths of experiential love leading us to be willingly and joyfully transformed and conformed into His image.
