The new life Jesus gives us is not merely a new identity—it produces a new way of living. In Ephesians 4:17–32, Paul moves from who we are in Christ to what that new identity should look like in the everyday choices, attitudes, words, and relationships of a believer.

Because Jesus has made us new, we are called to live new.

We all long to belong. We search for identity, significance, and happiness in relationships, possessions, titles, success, pleasure, and the people or things we associate ourselves with. Yet we were created to find our identity in God.
