Paul continues this section by going into another specific relationship. Having completed his commands concerning the husband wife relationship, he now moves on to the parent child and will conclude with the master slave relationship. These relationships are all a reflection of our relationship with Jesus.
Therefore, the key to all our relationships is our relationship with Jesus. Are we walking in obedience? Are we filled with the Holy Spirit? Do we live in the fear of God? This will define a person in a right relationship with Jesus. The key to right with one another in Christ is to be right with Jesus.
