Will moved to Canada in 1984 from Dublin Ireland as a teenager. Living in Oshawa,
Will noticed at a young age that his town was missing an identity and a culture. It’s been his quest in life to bring Durham region into a different view as a hotspot for art and creativity, not just as a suburb of Toronto. Will has been a writer for his whole life and we talk about life and what we’ve learnt as adults looking back to a more simple time.
Will is married with three sons and lives in Oshawa as a freelance writer. He writes primarily for the website durhamregion.com.
