Epic Stories with Eliana

Eliana and James met Jennifer, the author of Eggasaurus, at a local book and author event. She was sweet and generous to Eliana that we wanted to share her story about a dinosaur egg delivery service to a larger audience!

Eliana didn’t quite want to let Halloween go, so we chose The Nightmare Before Christmas. We found the Golden Books version, so that we could read it for all our listeners. Hopefully all of you are enjoying the candy and treats!

Most of the books Eliana and James read have pictures, but not today… Eliana (not from the podcast) & her sister, Dala, requested a book that finally allows James to do voices and everyone to be silly!

Eliana and James didn’t know much about Ryan or his Red Titan superhero, but we did enjoy reading it as a request for Rafael! It is a wonderful introduction to comic books for children.

What a timely request from James and Connor! Eliana has a surprise that is very related to the story that is happening at our house at the end of the story. She also started watching the Magic School Bus immediately after we read this!

We received another superhero story request for Vidhun. He really loves Spiderman and Venom, but we had a bit of trouble finding one with Venom. Since we found one at the end of the Avengers story, hopefully we will get a second one out for you. Enjoy!

Eliana and James received a lovely message and repost of Leif listening to Epic Stories with Eliana! He wanted to hear the story of Malala Yousafzai in the Little People Big Dreams series. While she has a wonderful story about her advocacy for women’s education, we had trouble getting it from our library. We chose the Frida Kahlo edition of the series. Hope you enjoy it, Leif!
